Read the steamy debut stranger fantasy short, "Silent Commute"
What themes do you, or will you focus on in your work?
In my work, you will find contemporary themes related to encounters with strangers, age gaps, toxic narcissistic relationships, and unconventional or surprising partnerships. All of my stories are and will be based on realistic encounters between human males and females. As a hobby Medievalist, I may be inspired to period work in the future.
You will notice an underlying romantic cynicism in my work, which begs to answer the question, "Can mind-blowing sex and a healthy loving relationship truly coexist?" This comes from my survival of not one but three significant narcissistic marriages and partnerships throughout my adult life, which I am exploring and reliving through some of my upcoming work.
Do you, or do you plan to write about LGBTQ themes?
I strictly write what I know and scenarios where I can imagine myself and/or have personal experiences I can relate to as a participant. Although LGBTQ themes are absolutely hot, and I personally cannot get enough of a good MM romance, as a straight woman, I wouldn't presume to understand how someone would feel as they participate in a particular scene. We will leave those steamy topics to those who know them for us all to enjoy.
Do you, or do you plan to write about BDSM themes?
BDSM is something I have explored personally in my life, and although I respect the practice and those who participate, it is not for me. Because of this, I choose not to include these themes in my work.
